I am a postdoctoral researcher working a joint-position with Ken Nakayama
at Harvard University and
Shinsuke Shimojo
at Caltech. We are investigating how humans learn probability and reward
structure to perform perceptual, sensorimotor and decision-making tasks.
My research is funded by the Shimojo Implicit Brain Function Project (ERATO).
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota in May, 2007 while being advised by
Paul Schrater
from the
Computational Perception and Action Lab.
My thesis involved using tools from statistical (i.e., Bayesian) decision theory to investigate movements people perform on a daily
basis (e.g., reach and grasp). Please feel free to call or email me regarding any of my research.
