Twins were born to Markman and Devore in late January in the year 2000. The twins, a male and female, named (Frank) Keil and (Nancy) Kanwisher, are the siblings of Bloom and Wynn born in March 1999. All members of the family help carry the twins throughout the day with Wynn and Devore doing most of the carrying.

Tamarins Carmazza and Goodall are also proud new parents of (Jacques) Mehler, born early in the morning on Friday, March 3, 2000. When Mehler was born, he was about twice the size of Keil or Kanwisher at birth. On Friday afternoon, Mehler was already climbing around the cage on his own. Caramazza and Goodall are quickly learning that caring for Mehler does not involve leaving him hanging on the side of the cage (video clip).
