Call for papers

We invite abstracts for a one-day workshop on 'children's acquisition and processing of head-final languages', which will be held on November 5, 2014 at Harvard University.

Roughly half of the world's languages have SOV order. In these languages, the verb generally appears clause-finally, case marking is common, and word order is flexible. These features present unique challenges for theories of language acquisition and online language processing. The aim of this workshop is to foster communication among researchers who study children's acquisition and processing of head-final languages and structures. We welcome abstracts on the following topics, among others:
