World Wide Web (WWW)

The Web allows you to view documents that combine text, images, sounds, movies, and links to other web pages. To access the Web, you need to use a Web Browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer. Another good way to learn HTML quickly is to view the source of other pages on the web. If you're browsing a page that you like, you can look at the HTML version of it to see how the effects were achieved. If you're using Netscape, select "Source..." from the View menu. In Mosaic, make sure that "Enable view source" is selected under the Options... menu and select "View source" from the File menu.
