Located in room 1303, the WJH computer classroom has ten Macintosh 7300/200 computers, each of which has a variety of multimedia and statistical software. When not in use for instruction, the classroom remains open for general computing during regular business hours.

If you cannot view the Quicktime VR movie above, you will need to download the latest version of Quicktime.

Important

NOTICE: PUBLIC AREA MACINTOSHES

The Macintoshes in the room 1301 lab as well as in the 1303 classroom will
have their systems rebuilt on a regular basis. As always, we strongly
suggest that you save your work to a floppy disk, but if you must save
your files to these machines, please do so at your own risk in the folder
called "Lost & Found." Any errant files found on the hard drive will be
moved into the Lost & Found folder. Files in "Lost & Found" will be
automatically deleted after one week, or when space is required on the
hard drive.

Any software that you install on these machines will be removed when the
machine reboots. If there is a particular software package that you wish
to see installed, please e-mail help@wjh, or call 5-3811 with your
suggestions.

For your convenience, we have placed common Internet (Nifty Telnet, Internet Explorer,
and Fetch), multimedia (Photoshop, Director, DeltaGraph, and HyperCard), and
statistical (Systat, StatView, Matlab, and Stata) software in the Apple menu, located in the
upper-left corner of the screen. Microsoft Office applications (Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint) are located in the Microsoft Office menu in the
upper-right corner of the screen.

We encourage to you to select "Rebuild this Macintosh" from the Apple
Menu before you begin working. If you experience problems, please
e-mail a complete description of the incident to help@wjh, or call 5-3811.

Thank you,
WJHCS
