Manager of Faculty Services (manages support for tenure-track faculty and visiting faculty, coordinates administrative support resources for senior faculty, manages course support services for Sociology lecturers; resource for faculty assistants; manages front desk positions;)
Biographical Note
Kimberly is responsible for managing support for faculty and lecturers; training and mentoring new faculty assistants; managing front office workflow; and working to implement standard operating procedures and best practices for the Faculty Services Office. Kimberly has breadth of experience in program administration and event logistics management, in addition to experience developing, improving, and implementing workflow and informational processes. Prior to joining the Sociology team, Kimberly worked as Manager of Courses (Interim) at Harvard University's Office of the Registrar, and as a Program Assistant at Harvard Law School's Program on the Legal Profession (PLP). Kimberly received her B.A. in Philosophy at Rutgers University and is currently pursuing an ALM in Liberal Arts (Anthropology Concentration). Before transitioning to higher education, Kimberly held positions in the financial services industry. Kimberly worked as a Senior Associate at the American Funds Service Co. where she managed client accounts, edited training and procedural manuals, and facilitated training classes. Kimberly is a Boston native and enjoys writing, volunteer work, reading, foreign films, travel, and trying new foods and wines.
