Biographical Note

Travis grew up in a small coastal Maine town. After attending the University of Maine at Farmington he moved to the big city of Boston. He currently resides in beautiful Jamaica Plain. Travis loves biking, backpacking, cross country skiing and many other outdoor adventures. He also plays guitar and banjo with The Homestead Family Band, a contra and folk dance band. Prior to joining the Sociology Department, Travis worked in Human Resources and as an outdoor trip leader.
