The Harvard University Department of Sociology

Ph.D.s on the Move

Graduates at Leading Universities and Departments

Many of the graduates of Harvard's Sociology, Social Policy, and Organizational Behavior Ph.D. programs have gone on to accept faculty positions at leading universities world-wide and other top-ranked graduate programs around the country. Others have taken up key research positions at foundations, research institutes, and the government. The influence of Harvard Sociology in producing the next generation of scholars is far in excess of what would be expected by our small size alone. Indeed, by some accounts we are the leading department in placement of graduates in major departments.

The following is a list of just some of our Ph.D. graduates in Sociology, with links to their own websites.
