Biographical Note

Charles Loeffler is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Sociology. His research focuses on the application of quasi-experimental methods to problems of causal analysis in criminology and sociology. He has several ongoing research projects related to estimating the effects of imprisonment at the individual level. Prior to entering the graduate program, he worked at the U.S. Sentencing Commission as a Research Associate.
