Biographical Note

Jeremy Levine is a graduate student in the Department of Sociology and a Doctoral Fellow in the Multidisciplinary Program in Inequality and Social Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Jeremy’s research interests include urban sociology, political sociology, race & ethnicity, and social policy. He is currently working on three research projects: The first investigates the geography of interorganizational network ties and the implications for neighborhood inequality; the second, with Carl Gershenson, analyzes the relationship between race and neighborhood political incorporation; and the third is an ethnography of local politics and urban redevelopment. Each project shares a focus on inequality, urban neighborhoods, and local political processes.

A native of Binghamton, New York, Jeremy received his B.A. in History and Sociology from the University of Michigan.
