Burak EskiciGraduate Student in SociologyBiographical NoteBurak was an engineer before coming to Harvard. He received his BS in Industrial Engineering from Bogazici University in 2006. Then he pursued the master program in the same department. During his master period he worked as a research assistant in the Socio-Economics System Dynamics Research Group where he researched on the dynamics of publication-citation dynamics in academia. In his journey from being an engineer he ended up to go in sociology. His main interest areas are economic inequality, development, social networks and quantitative techniques. Burak is from Istanbul, Turkey. He likes photography, cinema and travelling. 09/30/2008
