The Harvard University Department of Sociology

Stefan Beljean

Graduate Student in Sociology

Biographical Note

Born and raised in Switzerland, I have grown up to become wholeheartedly devoted to the study of modern society and its ramifications. Before coming to Harvard, I have earned a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology from the University of Konstanz, Germany. In my previous work, I have examined the use of information technology in complex organizations, with a particular focus on IT systems in the area of Human Resources Management. Currently, I am conducting a research project on evaluation in the comedy industry. In the future, I plan to look at the role of performance evaluation systems in modern workplaces and in other areas of social life.
