Step Five: Research and Data Analysis

Senior Tutorial

Psychology 990, 992, and 993 are the official courses within which you undertake your thesis research. The courses are graded on a "Sat/Unsat" basis and comprise two distinct parts. The first, and where students spend most of the time, is working on their thesis project, which is directed by thesis supervisors. The second is occasional but required group meetings about the thesis process led by Greg Willard (a post-doc and former sophomore tutor) and Head Tutor Professor Mahzarin Banaji, who oversees the thesis program.

The 2009-10 group meetings will be held from 4-5 pm in WJH 1550 on:

September 10, 2009
October 15, 2009
November 12, 2009
December 3, 2009
February 4, 2010
March 26, 2010

Please note the first day of class is after Study Card Day. Concentration Advisers have permission to sign as the instructor for Psy 990/992/993.

Psy 992 is for MBB track students, PSY 993 is for Social and Cognitive Neuroscience (Life Science) track students, and PSy 990 is for everyone else; the three courses actually meet together even though they have different course numbers.
