Dr. Angela Gutchess

I’m currently a Postdoctoral Fellow with Dr. Daniel Schacter through the Psychology Department at Harvard University and the Martinos Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.  My research addresses the impact of healthy aging and cultural background on long-term memory and social cognition, using behavioral and functional MRI methods.

I received my PhD from the Cognition and Perception program in the Psychology Department at the University of Michigan, working primarily with Dr. Denise Park.

In July 2007, I’ll move to the Psychology Department at Brandeis University as an Assistant Professor.  If you’re potentially interested in joining my lab as a graduate student or research assistant, please contact me.
