This is the homepage of the 12th annual Aage Sørensen Memorial Conference which will be held at Harvard University on April 10-11, 2008.  This is an annual conference organized by graduate students in the Sociology Departments at Harvard University, Nuffield College at Oxford, and Stockholm University. The 2008 conference will take place in 1550 William James Hall on April 10th and 11th. 

The conference brings together graduate students to present ongoing research projects and offers an opportunity for intellectual exchange in an international context. The theme for the conference this year is “New Frontiers in Research on Inequality and Social Exclusion.” The conference will include sessions on Gender Inequality; Youth Social Exclusion; Class, Culture, Health; New Approaches to Network Analysis; and Education ; Stratification.
